HDF observed International Day of Education on 24th January, 2022 to commemorate

HDF’s role in educating more than 100,000 out-of-school children belonging to the underprivileged communities in its program areas. Education and Literacy Program of HDF aims at providing quality education to children in marginalized communities with multiple scholarship programs. HDF is striving hard to protect every child’s right to education with special emphasis on gender equality by ensuring 65% female students enrolment. Under this year’s theme ‘Changing Course, Transforming Education’, HDF held extensive teachers training workshop in all regions with the aim to train teachers on the modern pedagogical skills and to update teaching methods as per the latest and innovative teaching trends. To facilitate and encourage more children to access quality education, we have so far awarded 869 THANKS scholarships to the bright and needy students.
