Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Spring Tree Plantation Campaign
2021 has been a year of leading global climate action for Pakistan. To mainstream climate change in the economically and socially vulnerable sectors of the economy and to steer Pakistan towards climate-resilient development, HDF School Islamabad participated in the launch of Spring Tree Plantation Campaign 2022 inaugurated by honorable Prime Minister of Pakistan Mr. Imran Khan on 22nd February 2022 at Head Quarter of Islamabad Boy Scouts Association (IBSA). Other dignitaries who attended the prestigious ceremony were Mr. Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training, Ms. Zartaj Gul Wazir, Minister of State for Climate Change, Mr. Malik Amin Aslam Khan, Federal Minister for Climate Change and Mr. Sarfraz Qamar Daha, Chief Commissioner PBSA. On this occasion of World Scouts Day in association with Pakistan Boy Scouts Association (PBSA), students from HDF schools planted several saplings to achieve SDG15: Life on Land. For our 25th Anniversary, HDF pledges to plant 2.5 lacs more aplings in the year 2022 under our Sustainable Environment program
