Meeting with Pak-Oman Microfinance Bank (POMFB) to Discuss Future Avenues under ‘Microfinance Outreach Partnership’
A valuable meeting was held with the representatives of Pak-Oman Microfinance Bank (POMFB) at Pak-Oman Head Office, Karachi. Among the attendees were Mr. Farooque, CEO POMFB, Mr. Zafar Iqbal, Head of Marketing and Business Development POMFB, Mr. Janmak, Mr. Babar Nazir Chaudhary, Director Programs HDF and Ms. Maria Soomro, Regional Program Manager HDF. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss in detail future partnership strategies and extended way forward for microfinance outreach. During the meeting, Mr. Babar, Director Program HDF, shared the current status of activities, the process of execution and the key challenges in its process. Matters of increasing revenues, growth in terms of business expansion, increasing profitability by building strategic partnerships, and making strategic business decisions were also discussed. The meeting concluded with agreed discussion and decision by both parties.
